Sorry Verd, only just seen your post - the hot weather in the south east must be sending me delirious Top tips would be 5" holes in fences or gates to allow roaming, feeding station with meat flavoured cat biscuits and fresh water, a suitable home/shelter even if that is leaving part of the garden wild. After that it's just a waiting game!
Great pics Joy & video Marc, you both must be doing something right Marc, Hedgley looks very healthy indeed.. have you been getting your daughter involved too?
Hubby nearly trod on a hedgehog on the back door mat the other morning, just as it was getting light.
I have just had a delivery on a pallet, and while he was there I got the man to move another pallet which has some gravel on. Sticking out at one side was another prickly fellow. I moved him to the purpose built hedgehog house under the bug house.
There are 3 feeding cafes around the garden, so when I found a Hedgehog eating bread off the bird tray, I wondered why, I checked and all the cafes were full.
So now I clear the bird tray of bread and at night put out some food and water for the Hedgehog.

Big hedgehog had visited the hog cafe, and was making his or her way across the lawn when my daughter spotted it.
sad sad news on the little hog that was having difficulties walking. The vets said that she died.
Ours haven't been round for a week, so stopped putting food out for them. There is always bird food around the floor anyway.
