Gorgeous all day, about 20d, went visiting, quick pop into Eastbourne Town Centre, OH asked me, to clean his car started as soon as I got back, just finnished when it started raining. I planted up (for the umpteeth time) a little wildflower bit, about a foot square, Sunday, plus slug pelletts, it rained a little I added more pellets, Monday morning, went down to inspect, there was 29 slugs and 2 snails on this little patch, dispatched in a bucket of saline. My little wildflower bit isnt THAT small, that was an old ants nest,

Our blackbirds are eating berries off a tree we did have 2, no idea what they are clusters of white flowers in spring, (early) red berries now.  Will have to see if my no;one son can take a pic to put on here, shame we missed the flowers. One of the trees suddenly died this year, but it would ruin a lot of garden to try and remove it, so I have utilised it for hanging baskets.

I liked that bit of kit " the hosta man" had. Found one online, but they're about £55. A wee bit pricey.
