Blue sky, bright sunshine, no wind, too hot! I'm done for the day, off to melt in front of the fan.  I doubt the geese will be back anytime soon, they must be a bit confused like me...............

  • Melting here too - 28 degrees - phew!  Too hot for gardening now, but it was bearable out there this morning. The weather is supposed to break again tomorrow though.

30c here image I can't help but enjoy it, not sure how I managed watering those wilting with shock today. Surprising temperatures for this late in August!

Nah, its often like this, I remember the same thing last year. Its just over 30d here, spent a little time in the sun, not much too hot, sat in the shade with my book, and picked the dead heads off a rose next to me!

Haven't had rain for weeks, then it rained on Saturday, day of my BBQ. Typical.

31° sun today. That would have been too hot for my BBQ, think I preferred the rain.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Season of mists here. Perfect Autumnal day with everything soaking with dew and the bright promise of sunshine. image
