    guernsey-what are jumpers, fleecy or otherwise?

  • Sweaters, pullovers, jerkins, jerseys - which name do you use for a layer of warmth over your thermals? I call them jumpers - odd names aren't they?

    Says in the Sunday Sun (newspaper) that hoodies are back, I didnt know they went "out", they bridge the gap, over Easter lovelly weathr here in the SE on the beach, but windy, had the hood up,was a bit worried though that David Cameron might rush along and hug me.   Fab day, here, dogs on the beach, olk having picnics kids playing in the sand.Guernsey Donkey 2, you forgot Tank tops, knitted waistcoats even! davids10, nah, fleeces are fleecy!

    It was a lovely day today, 20° in the shade. I got hot in the sun. Here is a photo to show the sky.

  • Oh Busy-Lizzie - you have set the scene for my past holidays - what a lovely area to live in. Not too hot here - light coat but no hat needed. At least that awful northerly wind has gone now. Tank tops - I remember them well - I even knitted one or two.
