Horrible here in N London, trampoline's gone on an exciting journey round the garden overnight, just been out to rescue various pots and toys before they hit any plants.

Hope the side fence survives (on the list to replace 'when we have more money').

    Stay safe everyone!

oday being easter Monday we are in Suffolk in the middle of storm Katie, all night it has been torrential rain and incredible winds ,it is as it states a true storm. it is now 11 in the morning and there seems to be no let up in fact it seems as though the wind is getting even stronger if that is at all possible. we have had trees up on roads .huge road traffic signs that have just been ripped out of the ground.

my advise is stay indoors do not venture out until the storm has run its course

After a beautiful day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday were overcast and windy, but on a few occasions violent squalls would arise with strong wonds and heavy rain that scattered stuff around the garden. Today it is less windy but overcast with "ordinary" showers.

Cold and windy here in W.Yorks, but nothing like your conditions, Flowers and Dove.  Hope it dies down soon for you...  image

imageWe've had a day of alternating sun and clouds, a cool start and end, so had the heater going for part of the day. Still no rain. I spend every day moving hoses around the garden, then coming in and colouring books, knitting and playing jigsaws on my iPad. What a life!  Rain predicted tomorrow for SE NSW. I'll believe it when I see it.

What turbulent and exciting weather you all are having.

Yesterday was 22C here, t-shirt weather. Worked on composting and cutting down the willow-and then this. But not a breath of wind.
