It was really warm and sunny today in SW France. On the way back from daughter's at 6.30pm the car said it was 18° outside. Got back to find it was 21° in the GH with door and windows open and it had been 34°. Some of the baby plants looked a bit unhappy.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Scroggin, The weather here in Renfrewshire is much the same as yours, I have been working in my garden the past couple of weeks when the sun...yes the sun has been out. I was really enjoying being outside and getting into the swing of things when hey the rain just spoils it for you. I have a springer spaniel and he says he doesn't know what I am moaning about he just loves it. Well he might like it but I hate taking him out in it. Roll on the dry weather again I am itching to get back out there
At least we are inside Dovefromabove - can't complain at rain coming down in the night as long as the following day is good - and the rain didn't start to come down here until we have virtually finished in the garden this afternoon - or GH for me - cosy in there!

Overcast cool day but it did not rain so I was able to get ouside and do some effective weeding.

Humbug, chucking it down with a vengeance and high winds. My gardening plans for this weekend have come to nothing
Beautiful day here yesterday - today windy and now raining.
The heavens have just opened here in Norfolk - the rain is hammering on our west facing windows and we've had to turn the sound up on the telly
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
