It's an absolutely gorgeous evening here in the pennines - low sun, blue sky, fluffy clouds.  Chilly in the wind but ok gardening in the sun, with enough layers on...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
  • Sunny but very cold today. I was planting out alpines this afternoon and my hands were freezing. Just east of Lincoln.

    Devon.
  • 5 1/2 hours on a lawnmower - now that is boring - do you listen to music - count clouds or fall asleep Hostafan1? That must be one very big lawn!

Sunny but still the very cold wind.. Spent the afternoon outdoors though, in the sun so not too bad, still had me jacket on though. Lifted lots of plants and bulbs as SiL is going to make a patio on the flower bed (that was) as it's the sunniest part of the garden. I got told at 1pm, work starts tomorrow! Men eh! image

I'm not sure if these clouds are representing a threat or a promise. We'd love to get rain, but the question is, how much and do we really need hail.

Wow Pat those clouds look amazing,  are you now into your autumn season ( trying to figure it out!)?
