Beautiful sunny day , not been outside yet but bet it is cold image

  • The forecast was for sun today - but not seen it yet - so it is dull and overcast with a cold N/E wind - so I won't be gardening this morning

Only down to 6C overnight  and it's been overcast and mizzly all morning until a few moments ago when the sun came out and it's nearly 10C .... that's 'cos it's nearly time to go and play indoor tennis ...

  • Dovefromabove - lucky you - enjoy the tennis and the sunshine when you emerge!

I live on a small hill (only 400 feet up) which is a bit exposed, but it's not like the hills I walk GD. They're not too far away though - fortunately. If the cloud's high enough, I can see Ben Lomond, some of the Arrochar hills and some of the lower ones in the west, from the road near the house when I go out  image

Cloudy here today and about 6 degrees just now. Not too bad really as there's  no wind chill factor .

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Froze again last night but not by much.  Bright and dry and 10C so far today but seriously draughty with lots of wind chill factor.   Not pleasant.

looks like  durham will be cloudy overnight and a bit foggy for the next week so the l/range forcast says

  • I know that I am lucky to live on such a lovely island - steeped in history and beautiful plants etc and the sea just takes my breath away (literally at this time of year - so cold but so beautiful too), but from our house we don't have a  wonderful view - only the next door gardens and our field which is far better than some I appreciate what we have - but I would love to overlook the coast or countryside.

Freezing, sea breeze today is very "bracing". I went out once and I'm not going out again.
