    Serious thunder and lightning.

    Very heavy tropical storm.

Been battering down now for over an hour. Temperature dropped from 36C to 24C.

North West Angolan Jungle. Yuk, Yuk, Yuk.

Did you have pants on too Verd - I hope so...image image

Cloudy and a bit chilly - four degrees when I went to work this morning and about six now. Not sure where the forecasters got those high temps from for the west of Scotland for today...image  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Beautiful sunny day today - light N/E wind was cool but not cold - about 10 degrees here - did a bit of hoeing to prepare my flower bed for planting in a week or two because the soil is dry and easier to work with.

North west highlands were to be the highest today Verd. It wasn't the sunny day here we had yesterday. It's mild for the time of year though - 7 or 8 degrees for a few hours is much warmer than usual for March.

Snow forecast for the hills later this week. That time of year - snow then melt, snow then melt image

  • Are you in the hills Fairygirl? We watched CountryFile on playback this evening and it seems that we are due for a few more dry days to come - about time!

Grey and overcast all day but dry in the South East... Got lots done outside.... I just wish the chilly wind would disappear. image

Me too, Mollis.  I'm in the north west (pennines) and it was ok today for gardening, dry but dull, but with a blow-through-your-thermals wind...  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
