Morning all/afties Pat. Cool and cloudy here but dry.

So sorry to hear your news Dove. As Verd says, so many of us have been through it and understand. She's in good hands in that lovely home, so that helps enormously.Love to you all  x

Watching the peregrines will be a nice way to de-stress.

I'll have a quick look round before I head out.

    Have a good day everyone.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Morning all 2C and a frost.

Dove, Wonky and Lyn big hugs to you all xxx

  • Morning everyone, nice sunny morning here and a gentle sea breeze.

Physiotherapy for the wife this morning, so a GC visit for me image then a pub lunch on the way home I think and maybe some gardening this afternoon depending on lunch may have to be a snooze instead image

If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.

Lyn, my thoughts are with you as well.

I seem to be having getting confused with the new time, so I'm missing posts every now and then.  Next week it'll be out turn to change our clocks and then our difference will be 9 hours. I might have to set an alarm to remind me to turn on the iPad. image

    Morning all.

We have "that paper" signed for my mum too...

Off for belated birthday celebration today, to a NT place accessible by train & bus - oldies passes will come in handy image

    Have a good day, folks!

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

    Morning all.

Dearest Lyn and Dove, Love, hugs and warmest wishes to you both.

Glorious sunny morning here after a chilly, frosty night.

Hubby is off and has promised to help me in the garden " all day"

" we're not going to be out there at 5 are we?"

I was thinking we'd still be out there after 6, but haven't told him that yet.

Chap came round selling aerial photos yesterday.:£25 each. Neither were great images so I haggled him down to £10 for the two.

    Devon.

    Morning all.

That is fascinating, Dove. Does it just nest on the gravel without actually building a nest?

Going shopping this morning. I am making sandwiches for 30 members of the orchestra tomorrow for the concert that OH will be singing in with his choir. Need the ingredients. Also need dog and cat food for when we are away in Norfolk next week, for the housesitter to feed them.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

FIFA should take some action but I suppose like so many things it's all down to money eg cheap clothing, while the workers don't seem to have any protection against exploitation.
