    oops!

After several months of doing the laundry, I've found out I've been putting the powder in the bit for pre wash, not main wash. ( googled the instructions as I don't know where "the book" is )

We have 2 machines, one for whites one for colours. OH obviously hasn't noticed the colours not being washed properly.

As my dear Mother would have said " what the eye doesn't see: the heart won't grieve over"

Maybe we don't really need to use the detergent image

Brrrr!  It's flippin' cold here and mizzly.  I'm going to knit and watch the racing image

Manky here too Dove - it's a tropical 5 degrees now - I could almost take my second simmit off - woo hoo! image

Hosta - I use about half the amount of detergent and fabric conditioner. Never notice any difference. image

Not 'out, out' RB - are you sure? But if you go 'out' and stay 'out', will you not be 'out, out' ?  image

DiD= Desert Island Discs Panda ......another of my guilty pleasuresimage

Drive up was very good - first time I've done it in under 3 hours (=2 Archer omnibusesimageimage).  Felley Priory was lovely - initially looked like there would not be much to see, but there were actually hundreds of hidden gems.  Lots of named snowdrops (Melanie Broughton has gone on my wish listimage), lots of hellebores, iris and corydalis.  Plus hundreds of peonies pushing their red shoots through.  So much promise in a garden at this time of year.

Now having a cuppa whilst Chicklet finishes up her last lecture for the term, then time to pack the car with her "stuff"......mostly consisting of enough shoes to wear a different pair every day of the month that she's homeimage.  I exaggerate, but you get the pictureimage.

    Quiet on here today.

Cold and miserable all day, have been snuggled up reading the paper.

Take away on order, beer open.

    Have a good night.

It's been cold and mizzly here all day - I've been on the sofa with my knitting and the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Pork chops, braised fennel and jacket potatoes have been eaten - OH is washing up - I'm waiting for GW on the telly - I might have a little doze first ... image

Is Hosta still under that hedge?

Nice day for you chicky. Youngest fairylet said to me that I'm like plants the way other people are with shoes. Don't know what she means...it was only a packet of seeds....image....and some of those Acidanthera/Peacock orchids ...image
