Uggh bit early for tales of snakes Glad you are now sorted.
Just getting ready for my drive to Nottingham - archers and gqt podcasts downloaded for the car, plus some DiD just in case there's traffic planning to stop off to visit a garden called Felley Priory on the way - probably a bit early to be spectacular, but I believe they serve cake Have a good day all ......sounds like some serious gardening going on .....spring is in the air
Hi Fidget. No not interested in the skin, they give me the creeps too. Ive been hanging back about cutting some lavender from the corner near the bedroom because there was a snake there last year just after I'd been cutting stems.
I suspect the kookaburra will see it and it will disappear.
I like snakes but I'll always treat the poisonous ones with a very healthy respect
When I divorced getting on for 25 years ago I kept my married name as the children said they would like me to keep the same name that they had. Then about 7 years ago when the children were moving on/marrying etc I decided to revert to my maiden name, retaining my married name as an additional name after my first two - however by then to keep officialdom happy it needed to be done by Deed Poll as it hadn't been triggered by a legal event such as marriage/divorce.
Chicky, have a good journey and enjoy the priory and the cake.
We're taking a trip to MIL tomorrow for a few days - when we get back seed sowing will start in earnest
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all! Just nipping in quickly to let you know I am still here. We had an amazing holiday which was well needed I'm now sat down sorting end of year accounts...
... as you can see its going well
You might get a giggle in that last year I dug two foot down and removed every bulb I could get from an area that is to be left to go to grass so I could plant them in a more appropriate area...
Returned home to see a beautiful display of crocus in the area that is meant to be just for grass while the intended area looks very bare and disappointing. You can't win sometimes!
RB, I hate having hairdressers messing with my hair and I've never had my nails done, would be a waste of money.
Going to tidy up the kitchen terrace, has flower borders in it and shrubs. Then going to daughter's this afternoon, near Poitiers. Her birthday is on Monday.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning all.
Glorious sunny morning with just a very light breeze. Still Easterly , but looks lovely out.
Awake until 5am
so totally knackered.
Heading out to do some gardening though and no siestas these days.
Wish me luck. If you hear of a gardener found asleep under a hedge, it'll be me.
Morning all.
Very cold and damp here.
Done the SM, so may replant alpine trough now.
Have a nice day.
