    Afternoon all.

Finally the sun has come out, and it is now glorious.

Been reliving childhood this morning. The entrance to the pond, from the stream, has become blocked this winter, with branches, and silt from the moor, so I have been wading about, shifting debris, and trying to get the pond inflow unblocked.

I cut my own hair Dove, but then I don't have much!

Hello, I'm back looking considerably tidier image

I called in at the good butcher on the market to get some pork chops and Florence fennel for tomorrow, and then as usual I found myself taking a short cut back to the bus stop via M&S - they were having a 60% Off Sale ......... and I ended up with 3 smart/casual tops for little more than thruppence.  Perfect for our holiday  image  Treated myself to some perfume too image

Afternoon all,  I've also been smartening myself up Dove, no hair cut, couldn't get in until next week, but I have had the tallons done and an eyebrow tint and wax.  Baby shower on Saturday so can't look too much of a tramp.

Went to the solicitors today with Secondborn as she is changing her name by deed poll to that of her partner, they can't afford to get married yet (house is gobbling up all their cash) and she doesn't want the baby to have a different surname.

No M&S for the baby shower food.  Grandaughter is going to nursery for an extra day tomorrow so I have been to the supermarket today to buy the ingreadients for a blueberry cake, fruit scones and a victoria sponge.

Looks like I wont be gardening for a couple of days at least.

Hope everyone is fit and well.

So, I guess most people have had a lovely day as it does seem very quiet on here.....

very busy day for me. Finished cutting the grass , at last and carried on shredding.

I have to say, I'm loving the dry, sunny days. Seems they're here for another week.

Yvie image  how much does the solicitor charge for that?  I did it myself online - it's very straight forward.

No point in my having a manicure this time of year - my nails will disintegrate once gardening proper starts and I won't have decent ones again until around Christmas.

Bro rang and said that he'd visited Ma today and although she was confused she was perfectly happy in her own world, and chatting away with other residents.  He said there's no need for me to do my planned visit tomorrow so I'll leave it until late next week and take her an Easter Card and Easter Egg etc.  That means I've got tomorrow off to make some Hot Cross Buns to take to MIL at the weekend and if the sun shines again I'll do some more gardening.

Been nice here this afternoon, but a cold wind this morning. Lovely in the greenhouse though.
