A proper frost here and not much sleep. Hound was feeling under the weather after his jabs on Tuesday so was given free reign of the bedroom last night. Truth be told I don't think he was that impressed with it but it made his lordship feel better.
I don't think the hound and I had more than a few hours sleep at a time. Still with enough mugs of tea I'm sure we'll whizz through a day at work.
South West coast of Ayrshire Dove. We do benefit from longer light at night and beautiful sun sets.
How lovely. I don't really know that part of Scotland - I've been to stay with friends in Glasgow, and stayed at Gourock for a few days and done some walking and cycling around there - and a few years ago we flew up to Glasgow and hired a car and drove to stay in a cottage on Skye for a week - it is lovely up there and as you say longer light at night - although we were on Skye for Midsummer Day and it rained for most of the week! Here in East Anglia we're in one of the driest parts of the UK.
Yum, just had a big bowl of rhubarb and creamy greek-style yoghurt for breakfast

Morning Pat. I've just emailed friend in Darwin. High temperatures there.
Morning all. Still adapting to the darker early mornings.
Good morning all
G'day Pat
Thank you for your kind thoughts everyone ((hugs))
It was a chilly night - down to 2.9C, and it's overcast and only 3.1C now.
This is what early morning in Norwich looks like ... from the nest on the cathedral spire where the peregrines are brooding their four eggs http://upp.hawkandowl.org/norwich-peregrines/norwich-cathedral-peregrine-live-web-cam-2016/

Much lighter in Norwich. Will return to web-cam site at intervals. Thanks for link.
Good morning Joyce - it's fascinating isn't it - and I find a few minutes watching it is strangely contemplative and soothing
The sky's turning blue here - whereabouts (roughly) are you based?

Keep safe everyone.
