    Morning all.

I'm glad your Dad's op went OK, Lesley.

Have a lovely holiday Lily P. Have you said where you are going?

It was so sad about SG Lily's friend, I remember her posts last week. Hugs to you Lily.

Gardening for me today, but it doesn't look as nice outside as they said it would be. Grey with a chilly wind.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Chicky's sat by a hospital bed again - on a phone so no smilies. Not sure there are any available anyway that match my current expression! Meds have made Mr C's pulse rate misbehave, so he was sent in for observation yesterday evening - i left him here at 2am, so no early morning posting from me this morning. Hopefully they have now made the correct adjustments to doses etc, and we should be home later today. Singing "life is a rollercoaster" in my head ....thankyou Ronan

Afternoon all,  Been a busy morning, had to go over to Secondborn's new house to drop a cooker hood off.  I'd like to say that I'm sure she will be in before the baby arrives but personally I think it will be a miracle if she is.  It's an absolute building site.

We are having a 'baby shower' this weedend at Firstborns.  I'm supposed to be baking on Friday but at the moment I am still looking after grandchildren so unless we can find a  surrogate nanna for the day that may not happen, look out M&S here we come.

    Hope Mr C improves Chicky,

Get well soon Lesley''s dadHave a nice holiday LilyP

Trip to GC., no plants bought, just grit, ericaceous compost and some MPC.

Sunny now, but cold, so I shall watch the cricket.

Best wishes to Mr. C, and hope you are coping Chicky. Not easy though.

    Chicky ((lots of hugs))  xx

If it's of any encouragement to you and Mr Chicky, the racehorse Sprinter Sacre has this afternoon just won the big race today at Cheltenham , two years after having to stop racing due to a 'fibrillating heart' - it was thought that he would be retired, but after treatment he has made an amazing come-back and is as good as ever - we'll be expecting great things from Mr Chicky image

Chicky I really hope the meds will now do the job properly For Mr C.  You've been through the mill lately. ((Hugs)).

Thanks for the best wishes for my Dad.  He's not the easiest of patients but he'll be good for the nursesimage.

Rb I'd have liked to have seen you throwing a few moves last nightimage.  Don't know if there's any truth in it but they say tonic water can help with cramp.  Is there any truth in it Pdoc?image.

So they say, Lesley, may be due to the quinine.

Can I add my best wishes and a speedy recovery for your dad.
