Thank you Hazel. Its lovely to meet such nice sounding people....they do exist. That is interesting Hazel as I get bad headaches and the dentist told me I must clench my teeth when I am asleep, not sure how he can tell exactly.

Thanks jacquii (welcome) and Hazel. His headaches are caused by a problem he has had with his eyes. He had had his retina reattached but his brain isn't reading the messages correctly yet. We are hoping it will improve over time.
Hazel I also have a mouthguard, the condition is called bruxism and causes excrutiating pain in the jaw. I had to wear the guard for a few weeks which broke the cycle and have been ok since even though I still find myself clenching my teeth occasionally.
