Morning all, back from dentist - again, doesn't get any better.
Lovely day here and when I get all my indoor jobs done I'll be outside again. Measuring well up for a grate to start with but if it is too expensive or too difficult to fit a wrought iron gate will have to be fitted. Just won't be me that tries to fit the grate on, definitely a job for an 'expert'.
'Well' that's all for now. Have a good day.

Morning all, the sun keeps trying to come out here but I've been out to open up the greenhouse and cold frame and it's really cold. No gardening planned for today.
I'm going with secondborn to her final scan. I'm really excited.
Its on Instagram and is of me "presenting" the makaton word for well you'll find out. I need honest opinions on video quality, presenting skills, what the sound is like. Its about to be a weekly feature!
Thank you Punkdoc. The poor volunteer holding the camera was shivering in the cold he did so well bless him while I was wobbling about collars being straight and other nonsense.
As today is World Down Syndrome Day (and we're all wearing odd socks to raise awareness) I've decided to launch my Makaton project: every Monday I will release another video or image to help teachers / users learn Makaton words associated with the emergency services. Hopefully it'll get better week by week!
Best of all is that thanks to modern cameras it doesn't cost anything so I don't need to worry about that delightful topic "funding".
Afternoon all. Just back from second litter-picking operation in the town. Nice to have lots of appreciative comments - though no passers-by have offered to muck in and help
Had a quick trip to the GC this morning, to buy a thank-you plant for my son and DIL whom I am visiting tomorrow for a few days. (I think they might find me the odd job in their garden... ) Managed to add some veg seeds to the basket, but I feel a more extensive visit coming up after Easter - we need more bark to top up the paths, and no doubt I'll find that a few plants leap into my trolley at the same time.
It's a bit dull but I think I might spend an hour or two re-shaping the lawn this afternoon.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Afternoon all - back from a week away in Lincolnshire / Rutland - cold but dry so we did most of the things we wanted to do . Barnsdale was about 2 miles down the road but didn't go because the day I had set aside was bitterly cold so went to Lincoln Cathedral instead.
You all seem to have been busy little bees.
Congratulations to Wonky on her new car - will make it easier for you to join us on some gardening outings and hope Flatters is feeling better.
Love the well DD - would look brilliant planted up with ferns etc grotto style. Hope the wrought iron grill or gate is affordable - it will be a lovely feature in your garden.
Clari - echo the other views on your video - clear, concise message - and I learnt something new today. If it helps with feedback - it worked fine on an iMac.
Have forgotten what everybody else is doing for now - hope you are all enjoying it. I am catching up on admin this afternoon. We have no less than (wait for it) 5 insurance policies which all expire within 10 days of one another plus a car and a motorbike MOT and tax (for both) in the same period. Ouch! Bad planning or what?
Am also doing battle with British Gas and Open Reach. The gin bottle is looking more tempting by the second....
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Hi Clari.
Honestly, I thought video was excellent: clear sound, good quality video, and, I could understand you easily.
