Good morning all G'day Pat if you're around and a very warm welcome to Jacqui
Raining here but at least it's not freezing ... I think today is going to be another indoor day.
((hugs)) for everyone with worries and cares - I hope the days get brighter for everyone.
KEF, thank you for your kind thoughts ((hugs)) - yes it's a bit of a weekend here - The Aged Ps' anniversary yesterday, Pa's birthday today and Mother's Day tomorrow. I took Ma flowers and chocolates earlier in the week. I had always said that when Pa passed away I'd make sure that Ma had a bunch of anemones on their anniversary, but I haven't ... Ma is totally confused about who died, who Pa was, who I am etc and as for dates??? ........... I think that to try to mark their anniversary would be confusing and unkind so I've left it. Bro is still out of the country so ...
As for Mother's Day, both my offsprung are working tomorrow ... but there have been times when they've not had work so that's a bonus And envelopes with instructions not to open until tomorrow have arrived and are on the bookcase
We've never 'done Mother's Day' other than sending cards and visiting Ma ... I suppose that for those of us whose mothers live a long life, Mother's Day tends to be more focussed on them than us.
Now we need more ...

Morning Dove. I'm a bit late today - been watching Vera while waiting for the Aust Gardening program to start. Here we go, it's justcstartng. Catch you later.
Dove - these anniversaries are horrible. You'll get through it as you always do -extremely well I thought of going to the cemetery today as I'll be going past on the way to walk, but it doesn't feel right to do that so I'll go tomorrow.
Welcome Jacqui - hope you enjoy the forum and all the mad people here
Yvie - did you get told that might be a side effect? Hope it improves soon - painful to have headaches constantly.
Easy to say 'don't worry' chicky - not easy to do though. Love to you and Mr c and the chicklets xxx
Off to walk shortly - can't miss this great spell of weather - and it's good at the weekend instead of when I'm at work - hurrah! More snowy pix to take
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Cheers Fairy - I'm ok - we're not an 'anniversary' family really - I think that's probably 'cos we're a farming family - things have to be done whatever and whenever - but I think of Pa every time I see the sunrise
