Meant to say, I found two ladybirds (native ones) sunning themselves on the grapevine yesterday image

    Morning Dove, hiya Patimage

Monday morning - yukk.  Feel like the pooch in Flumpy's picture .....although I am not nearly that cuteimage

Went to Cooper Pedy once - stayed in a hotel in the caves.  One of the strangest places on earth that anyone would choose to live .....guess the lure of the opals was just too much.

Ran out of seed compost yesterday, and need to start my second batch of babies off this week ....so GC trip imperative today.  Wonder if I can come out with just compostimage

    Morning Chicky image

I have to get some seed compost too, and some JI3 as the fig needs re-potting.  Its big expensive square terracotta pot has an alarming crack in it - I'm wondering whether some strong wire put around the pot and twisted tight will hold it for another year?  This month is going to be expensive as we have to buy a new tv, pay for our holiday and tax the car.

Can't put up with the old tv any longer as it's developed a really noisy background hum that we can't fix  image  it's really old and we've had it repaired in the past when it's gone wrong, but think we've spent enough on it now - got to bite the bullet.  image

    H Chicky. I didn't realise you'd been to Oz.

Dove, I love seeing the ladybirds. They are so colourful And I'm happy to feed them on the aphids on roses.

    Morning all.

Another hideous night of awake/asleep/awake/asleep/ awake, you get the picture.

Been awake since 5.30 but tried, and failed to get back to sleep.

Some real bargains to be had on TVs just now Dove. Don't forget to check out John Lewis,  "never knowingly undersold" and click and collect to your local Waitrose image

Moving bags of weeds down to compos bins as the ground is just about dry enough to take the mower onto it.

Sunny here Verdun, maybe the wind heading your way will get rid of the cloud.

Morning all/afties Pat - your weather is as weird as ours has been!

Cold here too Dove - hint of a frost but sunny so it's lovely. Scotland is to be the warmest place today - not often we can say that!  image  Pity it wasn't clear like that at the weekend for getting to the hills. Curses.... image

Dove - I fixed a terracotta pot with sealant - kept it going for a few more years image

Have a good day everyone - whatever you're up to

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Sun's just peeping through here Verdun image  Let's hope we all have a lovely gardening day image

Sorry to hear you had a bad night Hosta ((hugs))  but you're doing better than you were image  Try not to lay there and get frustrated by not sleeping - do some meditation exercises and try to think that at least you're getting some rest image

We're going to JL for the tv - a 5 year guarantee is not to be sneezed at and they'll deliver it and make sure it'll talk to our hub etc (for a small fee) and take the old one away - got to be worth it.

We've been looking online and think we've found a fairly reasonable one that'll suit - we're going for a slightly bigger screen than the one we have which is a 32"  - this sitting room is quite large and we sit a fair distance from the tv and when I'm watching Wimbledon it's hard to see the scores in the top left corner, so slightly bigger will be good.  As long as it's not too big.
