I watched the Creme thingy last night. What's wrong with slapping it in a bowl and pouring custard from a pot on it? Tsk some people...

Morning all. Currently gloriously sunny outside. Alas I am inside writing to decide how to write an email to all the schools that, for some silly reason, haven't booked to visit us yet. I'm thinking "hey teachers book now and I'll tell you where the chocolate is hidden!" Professional enough?image

    Have a lovely day everyone.

Think the 'new site' is happening in stages - I've noticed some changes - the What to do now section has a new layout - much easier to follow on a smaller screen image

Back from seeing the nurse - they're happy with my BP - much improved on previous times when they've used the electric gadget which I find so painful. However, it was a real struggle to get any blood out of me - I'd had nearly a litre of water to drink this morning so was nicely hydrated, but nothing would come from the first arm and only with a struggle from the second. Never been like that before image

Maybe if my BP had been higher it would have squirted out - or doesn't it work like that ?

Now for a quick brekky and coffee before tennis  ...

    Morning all.

    Sunny, after heavy frost.

Have very intermittent internet at the moment, so may not be around, until sorted.

    Have fun.

Have the avatar photos shrunk or have I not got my specs on?

They do look a little smaller - perhaps it's so they fit on a mobile phone screen image

    Afternoon all.

Hosta, I'm with you on the Creme programme.  Too much competition...  and Clari, I too have been known to bung the pud in a bowl with ready-made custard on it.  imageMy OH is definitely not a foody and doesn't like his food "messed around with" - which is a pity cos I like cooking interesting stuff from time to time.  That has to wait until we have visitors.  image

We got wet on our walk this morning; the April showers are a couple of days early I think.  But it's sunny now so I'm off to the garden to shovel compost while the going's good.  image

No you're not, Hosta - they look the same on this machine too...
