But I've spent all day cutting out and prit sticking so have to confess I'm not used to just dull colours (my little classroom art project is going to be BOLD).
I can't get over its the end of the month tonight. (We are already after midnight). So April Fools Day tomorrow for me, well after this current sleep period and then another, I think I'm getting ahead of myself. I don't think I'm bonkers, though - just upside down, as Hosta says.
weve been watching Embarrassing Bodies tonight. Not sure how to comment!
I enjoyed Crème de la Crème Bake Off because it was so different to what I churn out at home. I liked the artistry, almost more like an arts and crafts programme. Didn't really seem like food, but I would love to have tasted it. I think they should have given it a different title, it was nothing like the Bake Off with Mary Berry.
Have spent some time in the veg garden.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Well, it is a bake off of sorts and they're supposed to be top professionals. but seemed a bit messy to me. Shan't bother to watch it again. I love trying different things and do at least one new recipe a week for our meals but some of the stuff on the real Bake Off is sufficiently Flights of Fancy for me and it's fun too.
Spent the morning wrestling with a wardrobe we've had stashed in the attic and trying to work out how to put it back together. Need to find the keys now. Then cleaning it and the rest of the house. Re-made a bed - frame and bedding and about to put a dressing table back in and then glass of wine and dinner. Tomorrow is 6 hours of patchwork class and then some messing with plants.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Lovely lunch out with friend. We both succumbed to a calorie-laden toffee cup in crisp pastry. . . scrumptious. Some digging needed to work it off!! I stuck to tree ties purchase at GC. . . unusual for me.

'I've got it - we do Bake Off, right, but strip out literally all the charm, fun and warmth.
is how Creme was described on one forum. I'd agree with that.
I can't see any difference here.

I think the difference in size is marginal if at all ... or it might be Lyn's power of auto-suggestion.
Ouch I ache all over - very strenuous tennis this morning - I might find myself dozing
Yes, but I was still interested while watching it - but it may begin to pall after another episode .........
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
