Lovely evening here too - steak and salad supper as a reward for my good BP result - now flollopped on the sofa with the knitting image

Just had a shower, got really hot in veg garden, it was 20° in the shade. Have weeded, spread manure, dug, raked and planted out my baby broad bean plants x 58. The re-potted my golden Philadelphus which was in a pot. Rather heavy, now in a bigger pot.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

It's not even 20 in my house BL!  image

Think some of the avatars look a bit smaller, but I don't always look at them too closely....image

Gosh you've all been so busy. I'm watching the A word while His Lordship cooks.

I've burst into tears twice already.

Ma is quite poorly and things look serious.  I've had 'that conversation' with the GP.  With her age and level of confusion any exploration or treatment would be very distressing.  I know what she would want were she able to choose.  She will remain at The Lovely Home and be kept comfortable and as the doctor says, 'We'll see what happens.'

Wonky is being a tower of strength, as is OH of course.  image

Sounds like a sensible plan Dove - but not easy for you and the family. Best wishes & hugs to you all - hope you receive some positive news x

I, too, have had "that conversation" and feel it better not to add to the confusion. Thinking of you.xx
