Zoomer , do take a photo when hes build his plastic bottle shed!!

Not been to the plot since Sunday as its been getting dark when I leave workimage might get time Saturday, picked a cabbage, cougettes, celery and the last of the tomatoes.Still a lot of produce in the ground though.

Went to homebase yesterday and bought some bags of compost for 99p, they were clearing out damaged bags. Also got a Hydrangea and some violas, and a half price flower pot that looks like a milk churn (retail therapy lol!!image

We were looking online for sheds, Wayfair have some good offers so might invest in a 12 x 8 for the garden heres a pic of my plotimage.image

Ginagibbs, I may have to wait some time for a pic, the guy hasn't started it yet. Your plot looks productive, I cut the last of my sunflowers last week.

I'll only be able to go to the plot at weekends when back at work  Did a tip run today with bags of weeds and collected more muck.

Off to Scotland tomorrow for a few days.

Zoomer my shed getting there with cladding shed today and hammering myself again,  I have seen a plastic greenhouse before in the Botanical gardens of Wales in the kids area,  I would give lots of bottles as always collecting them when buying drinks - but think I am too far away - hope it would be waterproof

Ginagibbs your plot look really good - I need to go to Homebase sometime - nice to treat yourself - just looked at the shed not bad prices from there  - What celery did you grow?

More shed build and broke another drill bit so now 2 of them stuck in shed forever, lucky have another bit the same size, most of back cladding up and ran out of pallet pieces the same size so need to get more

New lot on corner plot were there today at end of day don't know what language they were talking - they have fixed the shed on the plot with plastic roof and planks of wood up side that was falling apart just nice to see new people my end of site

Zoomer think the polytunnel is on Ginagibbs plot

Hi, yes polythene is mine.  Really good investment as my greenhouse is small.  Not sure what sort of celery garden girl,  but it is self blanching. ?

Ginagibbs was it green celery or pink/red?

Went to allotment early today did a small bit on shed but got smoked out by neighbours bonfire mound so left at lunch, then went to B&Q got a bonfire bin, came back and noticed a skip with insulation off cuts which is handy for shed so managed to get them
