Had the hill to myself David - it's often walked with another hill (Beinn Odhar) which is on the very left hand side of the second last pic, and some hardy souls also add another hill (the long, snow capped one on the right hand foreground of that pic) to make a round of three. I intended doing yesterday's from Odhar when I was there in November, but the extra (very steep) ascent and descent is quite brutal on the dodgy knees.
Love that sepia pic - was it originally in colour then?
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Not a long walk lily - but steep enough for a good thigh burner

More wonderful pics, Fairy. I can now well understand their therapeutic value......if only my own local medicine were so sweet.
Not sure if this works in sepia......a winter scene by my local river.

Thanks for the update, Fairy.
Was it originally in colour then?', not this time, I shot it in monochrome and post processed it into sepia.
I love that effect David - completely changes the way a pic looks

You'll need a few extra layers Verd

The layer of snow makes even ordinary hills look good, but there's no denying how stunning the big hills are at any time of year.
