I'm very fond of the mountain hares, they're very well camouflaged in winter - except when there's freakishly warm weather and the snow melts! The grouse were all fairly well changed into their spring/summer attire though. Wish I'd had a pound for every one I saw. Like Piccadilly Circus with them

Real hazy air today. I love the little lochans - they're always a delight when you find them.
Just over 9 miles and only around 1500 feet ascent you did today RB - not too strenuous. Ideal for a Saturday in March eh?
