It was a nice wind free, flat summit lily - not always easy to keep the camera upright when you try it, and not always a suitable place to put it either!
I'm getting the hang of the timer now - I had to take quite a few though
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
It was around 1900 feet where I found the spawn. There were several little pools not far away but froggy clearly didn't fancy them If anyone had seen me scooping it all into my flask, they'd have thought I was mental
Views were tremendous - glad I went out.

Thanks, Fg......couldn't help myself.
I was just doing that too David!
Not a huge difference to the hills - really just the heathery summit isn't it?

Bumping up for Hefty and the lovely bee

Stunning pics Fairy, thank you for sharing. Feel I was walking too
Great pic of you, did you set the timer?
Thank you for sharing too Liri, great pics.
David, love the pic of the peacock, fabulous.

Here's a few more miles for you then RB
Beinn Chaorach at Tyndrum/Bridge of Orchy. An unspectacular hill, but it has views to die for on a good day
two cheeky sheep with Ben Challum behind them
Beinn Dorain on the right with Ben Starav in the distance - with the 'louring' clouds full of snow
close up of Ben More and Stob Binnien, from the summit
Self timed shot looking towards Ben Challum on the left, and the Crianlarich hills
Panorama of those hills, plus the Tyndrum hills
Looking the other way (north) - the Bridge of Orchy hills on the left, and the Glen Lochy hills on the right
and today's rescue - a frog with no sense of direction presumably....
safely brought home in my flask to Fairy Towers, to be re-homed in the pond

They're lovely, Fairy! I especially like the close-up of Ben More.
I wonder if that spawn will be viable? I guess it's pretty cold up there... but maybe frogspawn contains anti-freeze. Strange to find it there!
Wonderfully wintry Fairy
. Took me a while to spot the spawn
.....thought you had brought a fully formed frog home in your flask

Phewww, Fairy, I could only just keep up with you. Lovely walk though.
