Morning all, Fidget you made me laugh, I did a similar thing years ago at an outdoor market. We were watching a man selling crockery and he was throwing it around and doing all the Del boy patter, I linked my arm through Hubbys and said 'I wish you were that good with your hands' It was then that I spotted hubby about 3 yards away laughing at me Luckily the man, and his wife, were very understanding.
DD I have seen therepists for depression on a couple of occasions the first one was very good and made me feel reassured and comfortable. The second one started the session by giving me a personal biog which informed me about how he normally works with the crimminally insane and paedophiles, needless to say I didn't go back for a second session.
It looks a bit grey here too Busy but I want to mulch the borders and get my new cold frame erected also have a bit more blood fish and bone to scatter about and the front lawn to edge. Sounds like Hubby will be having a busy day
Flumpy hope that flu gets better soon, definitely a week-end for staying warm and dry indoors with a bit of pampering of yourself.
Lizzie, had a little false alarm with the job as they only had 2 tables booked on the night I was due to start to they very apologetically postponed me, I am pretty sure though that soon they will be asking me to work more than I actually want to so I am trying to enjoy my free evenings whilst I have them.
Everyone has said the same to my poor friend about the job but he had just wound himself up into such a state about his lack of ability (in his own mind anyway) that he felt he had to go. Sadly, now he is getting upset because everyone has been telling him he should have stayed. I have tried to be a listener rather than an adviser, he actually knows what he has to do, just getting up, out and doing it is the difficult bit for him. Such a tricky situation, there is nothing I can do for him except listen and encourage gently. He has a speech impediment too which makes phones calls even more difficult, and he is worse now than normal. He is so nice, he is clever, kind, a fabulous teacher and role model and yet so full of self doubt and at the moment extremely low in self confidence he can hardly face getting out of bed. Heartbreaking to see/hear him. He has an elderly mother whom he adores, she lives quite far away sadly but my hope is that for her sake he will pull things together and get back on track and not do anything 'drastic', even though he has talked of it. Life can be so cruel sometimes.

Fidget that story was so funny. Yvie so was yours. I often speak to strange men as my OH wanders off
I benefited from CBT and was told if ever I needed help again to get back in touch At one point I felt I needed help, not so easy, a new referral, go on the waiting list and not forced to see the same therapist, I didn't bother I just jabber away to you lovely peeps
Rotten nights sleep, seem to be coming out in sympathy, with some of you.
OH got home very late last night, I was asleep on the sofa, and mysteriously an empty bottle of wine was by my side.
Re Zopiclone Hosta. I have been taking it for 10 years now, definitely not to be recommended. However, it does still work, and has far less side effects, compared to some of the others.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Pat - thanks for the link to the programme - unfortunately all I get is a message saying it can't be viewed outside Australia - but please say thanks to your OH for trying
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
The soundproofing (which we used on interior walls between bedrooms) has been as successful as I had hoped although still not perfect. The builder did say it wouldn't be 100 % because the sound also travels through the ceiling and floor space.
The biggest problem was you could hear people coughing and snoring, quite obviously, through the original wall. That sound is now very much muffled and I think acceptable. You can hear the sound of voices, one guest was on the phone the other night, but I couldn't make out any words and it was just a muffled sound rather than actual voices, if that makes sense.
We are planning on putting new wooden floors down soon and will definitely put sound insulation down before the wood goes in to help further.
I hope that helps with your decision.

Oh what shame, Dove. Let's think about this for a while. Maybe we can send it on a disc of something
Hi Hazel,
Sorry I did mean to reply to you sooner.
