Hi Fairy. We haven't had fruit yet. Maybe this year it'll be mature enough to produce more than flowers.

We also have a Peacharine. You can probably guess the combination. Still too young to produce fruit.maybe this year, image

Think the Peacharine is almost not worth the bother - they're kind of similar anyway! image

I wonder if the Plumcot will be more plummy - apricots are quite subtle. Will be interesting to hear what you think - once you have some fruit  image

Took some pix before I left yesterday. The garden was all dewy and damp and autumnal  image

Nice web and spider, taken through the little window in the screen

Still having to resize all the pix to below 2.5 MB, which is really annoying. I thought that had been sorted image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Lovely, Fairy. I really like that window, and of course the webs are always good to see. image

I keep looking in and then leaving the site for a while - am half asleep. Tomorrow morning  I've got to get hooked up to a 24 hour heart monitor as well as having a fasting blood test. Not looking forward to going without a shower for 24 hours.image   Time for bed for me I think.

Pat, I hope all goes well with your tests in the morning.

Love seeing spring blossom on trees image

Fairy, spiders' webs in an autumn morning covered in dew drops are beautiful especially when the sun makes them sparkle.  Who needs glitzy tat in a garden?   Nature does it so much better.image

Took these today. Not as much colour as usual, but we are suffering from lack of rain over August (less than half an inch in the month)

Berghill you must be growing commercially. I have never seen so many plants! And so tidy!!

Weeds are flowers, too, once you get to know them.”

    A super alpine house Berghill.

Do you spend every waking hour in that large garden?

We certainly spend as much time as we can out there.

No, just grow to sell a few for charity. Many of the ones in the trays are Auricula seedlings. Most if not all will be thrown away after seeing what the flowers look like.
