I think that camellia is absolutely gorgeous Wonky - that gorgeous central boss of golden stamens against the delicate creamy silk petals - like a wonderful embroidery.

Lovely colour, Wonky. Reminds me of my Malvern Hills rose.
My iris reticulata was just coming out when we left and when we got home 12 days later it was all over, apart from spiky leaves.
