     It's a lovely clematis. I've always wanted it and never had it in any of my previous gardens. It's flowered it's head off. 

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    It's a screen - there's a wide path behind it then a border in front of the boundary fence. About 8 or 9 feet away. This is the other side. It was taken last autumn when I was laying the new paths. I should take a more up top date one with the planting. The ropey fence at the end is temporary - the other side of it is where the extension will go ...eventually  image

    I'm glad you have that Clematis Fairy coz I think it's the one that popped up out of nowhere image The flowers are the same image

    There's one or two that are similar Panda, but Niobe is so velvety and rich compared to some of the reddish ones. I'd like another as well but don't have a suitable spot for it. The front  of the screen gets less sun - morning only - and I think it's much better on that side. Like lots of the reds or deep purples, it gets a little bleached on the other side. 

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
