Thanks for all the kind comments. Yep I agree about the fence, that's next on the list It is in desperate need of replacing with new fence panels but i'm leaving them now until March when i'll replace the lot.
Love that 'sky' pic David - clouds make a lovely subject. I don't think we look up enough.
I think this sedum Autumn Joy is the star just now for me, even though it's not staying where it is and it's not open properly yet. The bees have made that happen - I suppose they're the stars really
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Great pix Chris - I'm not a dahlia fan but that white one and the last one would fit in my garden very well!
Good luck with your fence - I saved a fortune last year doing all my own as I had a long, open boundary. Would have cost a couple of grand at least to get a firm to do it. The painting is probably the worst bit though!

Gorgeous pics as always, I didn't used to be a Dahlia fan but since going to the GC. Last weekend I've changed my mind, there were some beautiful ones.
Lovely sedum FG
My star ( which I may have posted before but they just keep getting better) is my a begonias, I put it on another thread the other day......got confused with this one
I absolutely love them and can't believe I grew them myself!!
It's only in a pot at present awating planting in it's final location (it needed to be grown up first) but has to be Geranium Rozane:
It was new to me this year and the growth and the flowers are stunning! Going to be a great plant to cover a big planter on ym deck and will be moved to other parts of the garden too wherever I need ground cover.
Also need to give an honourable metion to my courgettes, they are a crop that just keep giving and giving, they're growing so fast that one day they're not big enough to harvest and the next they're marrows!

What beautiful dahlias!
another 'made my day' moment.
I have the white cactus which has three blooms now, other dahlias in bud. Hopefully a pom pom ( mixed up the tubers last year
)

Lovely pics; they have cheered up a very wet day
Those dahlias are gorgeous Chris, they are like fireworks, such beautiful colours
Fairy your sedum is so so pretty
Complete contrast to the dahlias but just as gorgeous
OL you are well showing off this begonia but well deserved to do so
My three star cactus dahlia
the first lily on this plant
and
still blooming lovely after a heavy rain bashing
Bizzie you have just given me the kick up the bum to get out there
Blooming beautiful as ever
