How do you mean - not having an autumn? I was in Norfolk and Eastbourne in the last 2 weeks. There was lots of autumn colour and lots of rain.
Two weeks ago, we were sitting on the beach at Eastbourne, shirt sleeves, really warm, around me here the leaves havent "turned" yet. Yes, plenty of rain now, - actually its stopped the sun is now out. I meant ridiculously mild weather.
Well my tree around me think its autumn... but its still quite mild at 15c most mornings..
Very Novembery here - dull, dark, dank and damp.
No sun - no moon!
Thomas HoodNo morn - no noon -
No dawn - no dusk - no proper time of day.
No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease,
No comfortable feel in any member -
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds! -
November!
Gertie, I think that plant is an Aeonium.
It had been mild so far , but leaves turning and dropping
tidied up strawberry bed at allottment and there where still flowers ?
You can't beat our weather , always something different
