I thought the scoring was very uneven last night.  Anita danced much better than Jay, Helen's performance left me cold - again, Peter André was back on being underwhelming, Kelly's hip hop stylee samba was brilliant and cleverly slow enough for her to be very accurate with all her feet and bounce and arm movements.   Georgia was very good - again - and Katie did a very good, classic rumba.  Needed a bit more hip action but she did well.

Jamelia's legs were all over the place so she is back to not getting it at all and Jeremy never will.   I couldn't stand him from the start - never have liked him on TV or radio - but he's grown on me because he's trying hard, working hard and having fun but it's no longer enough at this stage of the competition.

Much prefer it with Claudia and Tess but think it would be better still if Tess went and Zoë Ball replaced her.    Tess is becoming a bit too interfering - like Brucie was but at least he knows about dancing.   Very pleased when he went.

  • Gertie, I agree too. Would much prefer a male and female duo. Didn't like Tess much when Bruce was on and she's even worse now.

Jeremy this week,  glad it wasn't one of the 'dancers'

Two words, "thank Goodness" we are now down to the dancers at last and sorry to upset anyone but I do like Katie, she is elegant has good footwork when the nerves do not get in the way, and last nights dance was classic, I hate it when I feel I should throw a bucket of water over the TV to separate the the male and female.

My choice last night again Kelly, Anita, Helen was good though she does give me the creeps and of course Georgia, it reminded me of my Mother dancing round the kitchen reducing me to tears of laughter as she did the Black Bottom and its ilk, she was a competition dancer, in the days of proper dancing to proper music, it did rub off on me a bit. The music last night was dire, who tortures the dancers with enough on their plate learning the dance without adding the hurdle of rubbish music with no common beat with the dance they are doing, please proper music at Blackpool.

To those of us who call it a dance competition and not interested in all the madness of Halloween and such there will be a sigh of relief, at last we are down to the nitty gritty. My personal choice from day one has been Kelly and Kevin though Anita and Georgia are coming up on the rails. Having watched and commentated on various forums for years this to me is one of the best years and as yet not putting a bet on any of the top three. I love Katie and Anton as you get good old Ballroom Dancing with them and it brings back memories of my late wife and I dancing. Happy days.

    Frank.
