    GWRS - i-Player?

SGL and RB - haven't time to run up anything at the mo.   Intended sewing room needs another two or three coats of paint to cover painted stripes - 6 coats to cover the orange, 7 and counting on the stripes.  I was told, too late, I should have put grey on first to neutralise it as white doesn't work.   Too right!

And then when that's done I have the opposite room to finish - same except solid blue walls with the same stripes - and then I can organise my stuff and make something gorgeous, starting with fleeces for winter.

It is nigh on impossible for amateurs like me to find dance frock patterns anyway.

I do hope they don't send any of the really good ones home tonight.

  • Oh heck Obelixx looks like it's been tangoed! ( old advert!)  Wouldn't fancy repainting the rad either.

Will look great when you've finished tho and probably bigger! Looking forward to see the 'after' pics image

  • P.S. Hope a good dancer doesn't get sent home either!

I've decided the rad will be spray painted once the wall paint cures and I can put masking tape and sheets of paper around.   Should have done it first but didn't realise what a battle it would be.

Actually, they're all good now but I do hope the rest go in the right order and we don't get to keep Ed the novelty act or Claudia, the one I haven't warmed to, for much longer.

OH suggested that too but it would gather dust and cost a lot in fabric and the perishing stripes should disappear in the next 2 to 3 coats and I already have the paint for both stripey rooms.

Pretty amazing dance off this evening.  I think the result was right given the pairs involved and maybe Ore will now work harder on his hip and foot mobility.   Not his best dance but, like I said before, STrictly Salsa is not what you see at salsa classes or bars.

  • Surprised at the two who were in the dance off. Both danced well 2nd time.

Hopefully we won't have Edd Balls after next week!

OH thought Laura went wrong near the beginning but recovered.  Ore didn't make any mistakes but still had not a lot of hip but that comes from the natural salsa footwork and he didn't have a lot of that in his choreography.

Giovanni did Laura no favours. The public were quite possibly voting him off rather than her. We've reached the point now, after so many years, that the dancers are better known to the public than most of the 'celebrities'. I think Claudia may suffer from the same problem - her partner is very 'look at me, I'm gorgeous' - or comes across that way at least. Greg may possibly be benefiting from the popularity of Natalie.

I'm glad Daisy got through this time. Hard to call for the final though. Usually by now a handful are beginning to stand out. As it is, could be any of them. Including Ed. He keeps improving, he's not taking the Mick out of the voting public to the extent John Sergeant did. People love a trier. image

I'm glad Daisy got through too. Couldn't understand why she has been in the dance off twice running.

I thought Laura looked a bit wooden, usually Ore is the better dancer. But Greg isn't as good as either of them, although he was better this week. Ed should have gone though, but this week he was light on his feet.

I really liked Danny and Louise. Like Obelixx, I can't warm to Claudia either - but her footwork is good.
