TBH, I think the eventual winner should have been either Kellie or Georgia. However, inasmuch as I couldn't separate them, perhaps Jay winning was the best compromise....and I can hardly be disappointed by the gorgeous & talented Aliona's success.
If Jay hadn't won I would have preferred Georgia to win. Think she was a bettrr dancer than Kellie and not sure why but there was something about Kellie
Kef, do not forget Len and I are "fossils" after years of training and dancing what do we know. Len was a welder I was an engineer if we had not done those jobs by the book people could have died, they will not die by not dancing in the correct manner though if a job is worth doing do it right.
David after the dancing there was only one real winner, perfect footwork apart from a small wobble right at the end Kelly outclassed them all, as with Caroline last year many did not like her but both could dance, Jay was a disappointment after great expectations. As soon as they announced he had won I turned straight over to the Bridge.
Sure there was frustration although there is light on the horizon, the large country Hotels around here put on dance nights and bring in top dancers some from strictly and we get a good meal plus dancing as it should be done always a sell out and wonderful to see my own children enjoying the way Joan and I did. The Grandchildren learning and discussing strictly with real insight. dancing is still alive in clubs and halls here in the NE and my lot go on cruises where the main theme is dancing. It is coming back and as the youngsters grow will probably get us all back to real dancing once again instead of a Reality show which it became this year, let the lions loose to eat us fossils because the gladiators are rising once again.

Please don't stop watching Frank, we would miss your insights

I was surprised that Jay won. I enjoyed Georgia & Giovanni the most. A lot of kissy cuddly between Jay & Aliona
David you could pick lottery numbers for me
I think Frank should get Len's job

YAY! FOR JAY!!!!!
So glad he won. He deserved it, his jive was brilliant, sooooo wanted to see it again.
But still got it on my sky box when I taped week 3......Yay.
Did think that the show dances ( except Kellies) weren't really 'show' dances like previous years. But judges only knocked Jay about it.
Jay and Aliona seemed rather close
Shall miss my Saturday night Strictly, but at least i won't have to watch Katie any more lol
