I thought that Katie deserved to go through, her dance seemed the best to me... I do find it funny that people talk of conspiracies in these competitions when the one they liked didn't get through. It's sad when it happens but it's not nice for those that do get through.... not that I imagine for a second they are reading this thread Could you imagine
Hope the boys enjoyed Kylie's outfit on 'Sunday' night
Yes thank you Frank, beef was very yummy Well done to your GD.
Sorry Frank, didn't mean the public voted Katie through on the dance off, meant i think they have been voting other weeks to keep Anton. I do think Katie has improved over the weeks.
Hi Lily no offense ever taken by me, we are all free to express our opinions and do it seems. Being called a fossil is not detrimental it means we learned the correct way of doing something which others now deem old fashioned, I started dancing long before Len at a much younger age actually and now see my two young grandchildren doing exactly the same as I did in dance school, the same steps the same rigorous discipline as to where the feet are and what they should be doing but also the same joy of doing it. That is the thing that matters, when I stopped enjoying something I stopped doing it. My wife and I danced all our lives until she became too ill and it is now nearly fives years since I lost her, my dancing stopped then too, without Joan it was not the same. There are strict rules to all the various dances and Len who has judged so many competitions expects trained dancers to obey them, that is a dance competition, what we have with strictly is a BBC show and they want to bring in viewers, they lay down the rules and made Len Head Judge because of his experience, they cannot have it both ways. Make it a show where I and many like me would not tune in or keep us by maintaining some real dance element and not a circus acrobatic act as some seem to want. Each to their own and if the demand was there two differing shows, we cannot have it all.
Of those left I think Georgia has made the most progress and is the best all rounder.
Jay is good but so he should be with all that previous training behind him.
If the judges make Katie do Latin, she's sunk unless Anton works her technique..
Kevin is very clever with his choreography putting n enough traditional steps and technique to please Len plus inventive bits to please Craig and Bruno.
It could be anybody's depending on how well the pros judge the show dance content and choreography.

May the best dancer win though I think the GBP will upset the betting. My requirements are correct dance steps and an inventive show dance, is it too much to ask. I take heart that my grandchildren are learning the dance disciplines my wife and I did and our children did not as it was old hat, now almost too late they are learning so Saturday's here are discussions on what went wrong with the strictly the week before, I sit and smile. At last they understand.
Frank I think it is great that your grandchildren are dancing. I'm late 50's and I guess I thought dancing wasn't cool at the time I should have learned, poor dad tried to teach me to waltz but abandoned the idea, said it was easier to teach me to drive
I was once enlisted by my three work mates( to provide some Xmas entertainment at a party for people with dementia and their carers) to do a square tango with a mop that was dressed as a woman and had a wig on, we were dressed as men. They had the basics of dancing KEF did not.
We practised until they deemed it okay and amusing I practised at home on the patio for days At the venue I wasn't in the corner that I'd imagined and I was totally thrown People started laughing after about 30 secs and at that point it hadn't become funny, it was my effort. I ended up strangling the mop and blaming her

A real fossil Frank.
I feel it must be Jay or Georgia (in that order) to win........but something tells me that Kellie & Kevin will pull-off something amazing.
Frank
I want Jay to win too. Do think Georgia's good, but the male dancers have to learn how to lead too.
Loved Kellies 'Oliver Twist' waltz the other week, great dance.

My dancing career was over
I'm sad that anyone would be disappointed if the gorgeous little Georgia won.....although Jay is still my prediction (and hope) to win.
