Perhaps it's just me, but I do rather find the Halloween thing a bit of a trial.  The costumes and make-up are first class, but that seems to take over from the actual dances.  And the music is chosen for its allusion to things ghostly/creepy etc and is often out of keeping with the dances themselves.

I, for one, will be glad to get back to more normal dancing.  And, yes, I know the music choices can be a bit random at any time, but we're much more likely to get something closer to the needed rhythm.

Have finally watched both shows this evening and have to agree that the whole Halloween thing is taking over a tad too much.   I've long complained about the modern rock music they insist on using for tango and paso and the Halloweening process doesn't help at all.

I still can't warm to Claudia but she did dance well.  Greg performed very well tho I agree with Craig about the lack of rumba steps.   Don't understand why people aren't voting for Daisy as she's very good.  Neither Ore nor Danny was on full form this weekend but I still think they'll be hard to beat.   Louise has improved but needs to keep that up if she's to beat the boys.  Laura's tango was very good and I loved her frock but I can't see her winning it either at the mo.   All in all a good show and I'm pleased with the result but really hope Ed goes next.

I suspect Anton would be a very good replacement for Len as long as je can curb his inclination to waffle but I think Karen would be good too.   Really don't want Brendan.

Not round here that I can see.  One house in our hamlet has put a sticker of a pumpkin on its front door window but that's all.   Haven't seen any great fuss in shops except for a bit of witchy decoration in the customer service area of one DIY shop.

Watched it on iPlayer. Glad Anastacia went. Can't understand why Daisy keeps being in the dance off, she's very good. Thought Ed did his best dance, but really it's time he went. Shame about Danny's mistakes. Ore said the Halloween costume and make up put him off, I could see why.

When we left England to move to France in 1985, Halloween wasn't a big thing. Now I am in England for Halloween this year it seems to have gone mad. Not a good thing and all those treats are dreadful for children's health and teeth. In France it's the time when people visit the cemeteries and put flowers, usually pots of chrysanthemums, on the graves.
