your orange Dahlia above is quiet a size, how do you manage to keep the slugs munching it, mine are in pots to help but I would love to put them in the ground to get to a good size.

Don't forget, really, you are doing me a favour having it. I really really hate chucking out any viable plant, bulb or tuber. It makes me sad.
