    Blimey Verdun that went better than what i would have thought. When i read your post i thought this person won't be able to venture out again with out body guards being in attendance lol.

    I wouldn't have gone near a rose bush with a barge pole a few years a go. Now i've found 3 growing happily in my garden. Its probabley a reminder i'm entering in to my autumn years.

    Verdun, in your thread title, did your fingers start writing, "Noooooooo" in defiance?   I think it's all bravado, and deep down you love roses.
