Yeah! - that about sums it up for me too Hosta.

I am all for freedom of speech etc but unpleasant ranting, unwillingness to even consider alternative views and downright rudeness have no place on my computer. And that is without threatening to take pot shots at animals (which I have also seen once too often on several other threads). 'Ignore' button for me too. First time in nearly three years of using this forum. Very sad.

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Gosh, people, I have been feeling under the weather today, but this thread has, in parts, raised a few laughs, and laughter is the best medicine. Also been an eye opener that people can be so harsh.

I dont have a cat or dog. Lemon juice and orange peel are deterrents. Also garlic.I had somebodys cat using my front garden, when I moved in, but the garlic seemed to be best.Nothing since.Am moving soon, and really hope I have nice neighbours with or without cats!!!!!!

Neither, just used garlic salt in bottle.

I like animals, I have a cat, a dog and horses. My garden was turning into a wild life park so OH fenced the veg bit and the main flower bit to protect them from the deer. I have hares, stone martins, mice, voles, lots of birds, red squirrels, but am glad I don't have rabbits - they can do a lot of damage in a garden. I'm so lucky to have a big garden and to share it with so many creatures, but I can understand that if you live in a town with a small garden and have to share it with the neighbours' cats it must get very frustrating.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Worked for me. I love both dogs and cats. I love my garden birds to bits.Hope in my new rented property I am able to have a cat or dog.I live in a rural village, and almost everyone has either a cat or dog, and in the 2 years I have been here, I have never heard anybody complain about the dogs and cats.

Charlie November - do one. You think it's appropriate to bring RAPE into a thread on here? You are a fruit loop. Offensive, sad and pathetic. Never mind the ignore button; you need sectionIng.

Charlie - Until humans do less damage to wildlife and this planet, then they cannot preach about natural wildlife damage. Otherwise humans are a bunch of  hypocrites... Sanctimonious greedy muderous control freaks

forgive me guys, but if folk don't want to read what any contributor has to say, there's always the "ignore" feature.

No point goading someone on then pretending you're not reading it. is there?

    Devon.
