I just watched episode 4 - the allergen one. It was OK. I'm still getting used to the plastic stuff - a bit strange to look at, but the final shot of the boys playing on the trampoline made it seem a happy garden space. I notice that foxglove has been introduced again and find it a bit strange, but as a lot of you have said, we need to teach our kids which plants are dangerous.
I'll be happy to keep watching it. It's nice to see the recipients glad to have. A nice clean garden to move around it,.
As with all garden makeovers, I'd love to see follow up visits in perhaps 6 months, to see how the family have fitted into their changed space, but I suppose the garden owners would prefer not to have the cameras invading their space again
I'm up for the crew coming back to do a follow up visit it might have changed quiet a bit when they come but gardens do evolve and there's bits in there that I need to make more child safe.
Have only seen since episode 4........didn't know it was on till I saw this thread........ but quite enjoying it. I like that they actually use some things you already have. As been said before its completely different from LYG but still very helpful.
Looked on sky for catch up and episodes 2 and 3 aren't there now although 1 is
Star gaze lily hope you catch up on the gardens they did not advertise this one well
I am finding the programmes great really enjoying watching them they inspire me, like the large plant pots in the titles especially the yellow one
Garden no 6 - nice that wooden arch they made, like the way he used the theme she wanted into a design with plants
Garden no 7 - yesterday I really liked the way they made that garden and using her bits and pieces around the garden, I have seen those tractor seats when going around shows and glad they used them as not that cheap, great they designed the width in-between the beds so the fake grass would fit just right
Garden 6 was ok but mowing round the 'planets' in the grass will be difficult. Better without them I think.
Garden 7 was good but I missed the bit when they were filling the raised beds. It must have cost a bomb for all that soil. And this was the most expensive one I think with the 'grass', sleepers and soil.

Names back to Gardengirl.. thanks to Daniel Haynes
Hogweed did think that about garden no 6 with the mowing
garden no 7 was lots of bags of topsoil as they had to be walked though the house as no side door or entrance so must of cost a bit as they could not get a bulk bag of soil
Wiccafairy you would have to let the crew know about the idea of the coming back - would be nice if they went back and looked at the gardens and how they have come on and been improved or if you needed help with certain bits of the garden
Thank you jo, just looked and found them. Will watch later with a cuppa
Gardengirl, saw yesterdays, liked what they did with her pots, seats etc too. Just got back from GC and saw a 'stool' with that type of seat but not priced.....they had loads.Notice the lady had one too next to the raised bed.
I quite like these programs they give you affordable ideas.
Would be nice to see 'return' gardens to see how they coped.
Just watched last nights 'love your garden'. Instant garden is much better as it is much more real, affordable gardens for real people and not about expensive product placement with the odd pallet conversion thrown in. Also as the instant gardener presenters have gone on the seem to have relaxed much more. They have even made me see there can be appropriate places for astro turf!
Garden no 8 - was nice to look at plants for wildlife like the dark coloured thistle and good the wildlife was attracted into the garden during the show. like the log store, was good that Lou the garden lady said not to make the border to big
