Its really interesting to hear what everyone is harvesting and just how your crops are doing. Those of us that are learners are picking up some great ideas on what to grow. I'd also like to hear from those of you that can grow straight carrots LOl! Mine were all multi legged distorted aliens. Still ate them of course. I've loosened up the soil since but I'm sure there are some interesting good tips out there?
First year owning an allotment. Seem to have a never ending supply of courgettes from only two plants. Lots of radish. And hopefully in the next week or two I will be harvesting my first cobs of corn!
I have really enjoyed watching the corn grow from nothing to now being taller than me!
Beets should be ready in another few weeks and my spinach, swiss chard and kohl rabi have just sprouted above the surface.
I also found a late variety of pumpkin that I posted elsewhere about. They are currently in my conservatory and I will be transplanting them in around two weeks.
Courgettes are a bit slow, Burgess squash expanding. Sweetcorn swelling. Carrots lovely. Parsnips big enough to eat. Rapsberries nearly done. Currants done. Spring onions growing.
For carrots, grow stumpy ones, or remove the stones! Also use only well rotted manure.
Fantastic runner beans, and also climbing French beans. Tomatoes slowly ripening but not as good as previous years. Also courgettes, but again slow to produce. I've had a small crop of very nice peas in June and early July - now finished. We have also grown Charlotte potatoes, just a few, and we lift them as we need them, so far they have been very good, just a couple with wire-worm damage.

Yes, I think stumpy carrots might be a good bet!
Your're all very lucky.
