Loved the wild garden too and the couple were soo relaxed about it . The garden on the hill why doesn't Chelsea give awards to real gardens that was a show garden in situ and what a surprise to find the herbaceous border garden right at the top such a clever garden. GW getting back to what lots of us want to see. Montys free experimental tomato plants look good too.
I really enjoyed this episode too, I thought I prefered the relaxed first garden but when the second opened up in layers, it had so many different aspects and styles! A gardener with real vision! Bet it Looks amazing from the top floor windows of the house!
Yes it was good all the way through. The bee colony reminded me of when we had a swarm arrive in the Botanic Garden and we volunteers were aoo agog watching the beekeeper who was summoned collect them and take them away.
Watched it last night - excellent programme - everything was of interest.Tried to analyse why it appealed so much & it all came down to relevance to my own gardening style and preferences.
Two excellent & aspirational gardens in the UK with lovely unassuming owners - hope they are having a good 'Open' weekend.
I planted outdoor tomatoes and courgettes on Thurs - good to get some timely tips and reminders. Good tips elsewhere as well.
I am seriously considering having a natural bee hive ( one to give the bees a home where they live and reproduce naturally & not managed for honey production) - so this article was very interesting for me.
Hope this is the start of better things to come
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

I haven't seen it yet - you've got me all excited Tootles
Be interested to hear what you think Topbird. I really enjoyed it!

Like you said Topbird, maybe the makers had a peek on here!
Hoping its the start of less use of the fast forward button (or fewer tea breaks if watching live)!
