Literally watching seeds grow - a time lapse video of a bean seed germinating. Took me about 6 hours to make but only takes a minute to watch. Enjoy! https://vimeo.com/72183576

My Lupins are germinating already after about 10 days, are they normally that fast? Field Scabious still coming up but the devils-bit are still a no-go.

Tats look fine, good to go or wait another week or two and they still will be fine image

  • First time sower of flower seeds that I want to sow out to create a 'wildflower meadow' but how do I know when they are ready for planting out in the soil?

  • Looking at all these seedlings is making me jealous.  I don't have time to plant much, as my husband needs looking after.  I have no problem with foxgloves though.  They self-seed around the garden every year, so I just dig them out, and pop them where I want them to be.  The bees love them, and i love watching them diving in to get the nectar.

Claire, I am a beginner, Last year was the first time of me planting seeds, To be honest i took a wild flower mix and just spread it under the tree where i wanted it, and it grew without any TLC image
