Gardengirl, I am just loving your thread. I count my seedlings every day first thing in the morning, last count was 34 sweetpeas and 10 marigold Bonanza Bee, amongst others. Seeing others' seedlings is almost as exciting! Brilliant idea you had!
I get so excited when the seeds start to show. so far i have planted broad beans peas and starting my onions in pots. And my potatos are busy chitting. cant wait to start gardening .
I love this thread, and if I can figure out the easiest way to share my own pics I will do. DD I'll have to show my husband that picture, then he might stop moaning about the conservatory, and the kitchen windowsills!
I've got cosmos, peas, rocket and a single lonely marigold up at the moment, and carrots and sunflowers have gone in recently.
TCbythesea use the tree symbol just search for your pic and upload, at min click on ok to the writing script picture appears insert - normally pics come out at top of writing just put it where you want it
DD your table looks brill nice and full
Oneofseven it is great seeing others seedlings 34 sweet peas that is amazing, I check mine a few times a day see if I have any appearing
Today I have a broad bean up may be more later today
Lyn, I'm not sure what variety they are without checking but according to the packet they are fine to grow in a pot off 25cm deep plus which is what I've done, so hopefully they'll be ok! Just done a quick google and it looks like there are some varieties that this is fine for so fingers crossed.
Did my potting on today of the peppers, cabbages and brussels. That left a big space in the propagator, so I sowed a tray of melons. I'll post up a picture when they show.

TC I maybe shouldnt say this but you cannot grow carrots in pots and transplant, wait until the weather is warm them sow directly outside.
