As someone who does not have a dog, or any pet, I'm disappointed at the some of the comments on this thread.
Steve is a Vet, yet some seem to imply by their comments that "they know best".
That some are happy to go along with old wives' tales is down to them, but Steve deals with facts and evidence. He is clearly only too happy to give his professional opinion yet others seem to question it which I find strange.
