Over the last few weeks Ive been giving my lawn its 'last cut of the year' numerous times, I wonder how many more I shall do before it stops growing? Anyway, I've tidied up my pots, just leaving out the evergreen box balls..
Spent a small fortune on new frost proof pots, compost and spring/summer bulbs. I discovered Homebase to be the cheapest for normal looking terracotta pots, but had to go to Dobbies for the two larger roll top pots. Managed to pot half of them up today, mostly aliums, dafs and some rather nice looking Venetian tulip collection from Sarah Raven. Placed them against the house for further frost protection..
One of the Acers colouring up nicely, next to Rudbeckia Marmalade, plus "borrowed" some colour from a neighbours trees, lit up by some early morning sun.
