    thank you Runnybeak, we have had numerous bbq's in all states of the garden but as you can see it is being used as a store for my plants at the mo image

    Love the fireplace Sanjy and that Iris is stunning.  Some beautiful gardens on here and spectacular planting.

    love all the blue flowers hefty what is the top flower called? i have loads of the 3rd one down leaves but no flowers so far,hope they are blue like yours, where are you to have flowers out already? i'm in the south east and hardly anything in flower yet!  i'm not sure where they came from as i didn't plant them.

    Thanks!! yeah the blues and purples are my favs! the top one is a Delphinium (can get various colours) heres one from last year -

    3rd one down is Anemone De Caen, check near the base for flower buds/stalks growing, you may have some on their way image

    Thanks hollie hock, the blue clump I think you mean is Geranium Johnson's Blue image

    Aspect is north facing and my soil is pretty meh against the fence but it's never complained
