    Great picsimage

Faves include Hefty's red, yellow, blue mix - brill! Love Runny's rose and clem combo too.

Wendy, I think your garden is beautiful as I remember it was last year. It's inspiring how you mix the coloursimage

BL , went and got my jeep and pulled him out , he is still red faced like most of the young guys we have to rescue on a regular basis ....what is more upsetting is that they have to have their macho drum and base music at top volume as they are riding around the countryside image

That's irritating, they do that in France as well.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Just thinking as I make the dinner, my second love after gardening image

Normally all the blooming flowers get all the limelight .....it's strangely dull here at the moment but some times this light gives great contrast to the colours image

I know what you mean Dacha about the light levels and I think you've captured it thereimage

I took this pic when I got home late the other night - it doesn't quite give justice to the curious gloom and you can't see the moths but it had a quiet about it which I liked:

Hi Hefty, it's a corner of a kalmia latifolia - it blew out its pot a few weeks ago and the rest is a bit scabby
