I love it Joe, especially the ceonothus against the dark wood! image

Only looked at the last few pages - so much hard work Wonky - it's going to be a great space, keep at it!

David - garden looking tremendous, as usual!

Joe - lovely feeling of being enveloped in plants and having a special 'secret' place. I love that image

W'song - what is the white Clem - is it Miss Bateman? Garden looks great - as usual image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

As a relatively new gardener am so envious of these beautiful gardens, something for me to aspire to.

Pat - very envious of that greenhouse - the seedlings all look lush too!

What Wonky hasn't told you all is that brick paving in her second picture was laid by her!  The area between the concrete path and the patio was an overgrown area of weeds, docks, tufts of grass etc.(as was the area the other side as well).  She cleared it and after an initial demonstration by her retired builder Dad, she laid that paving!!!  It's all old radiator bricks and other stuff she dug out of the garden!!!  image

Just been back to admire the paving.   Well done, Wonky, on two counts.   First for the recycling, and second for the good job you did.   Nice and level!

Finally managed to get the grass cut again. After the rain it just took off.My herbaceous borders are still a work in progress as still have a lot of weeding and thinning out to do.Every thing so lush and green.
